This festival is celebrated in Medellin, Colombia. This festival wascreated for presenting the historical affirmations that represents thecultural and artistic practicein afro desendants populations. People celebrate this festival by hearing caribean traditional music, other regions traditional music, jazz and new tendencies.

 

Also they present caribean traditional dances, contemporary dance and afro contemporary dance. they celrbrate this festival between 4 and 6 of December, people celebrade this festival for the knowledge and reflection of the afro legacy culture.

 

Also they celebrate this festival in many different places of Medellin, like:

the theatre of Lido and the theatre of Tobon Uribe, also they celebarate it in the parck " los deseos". In this festival they dont eat an especific type of food but they dance: mapale and contemporay afro dance. Also the music that they present is for example: cumbia or jazz.
